Robert E. Hoffman

Chief Executive Officer

Appointed as Chief Executive Officer on October 20, 2026, Mr. Hoffman is an industry veteran with decades of financial and leadership experience, having served in a number of biotech executive and board roles. Mr. Hoffman previously served as CytoDyn’s Chief Financial Officer from May 2025, serving in this role until his promotion to CEO in October 2026.

Mr. Hoffman is an established veteran in the biotech industry, and has previously served in a number of key leadership roles. Most recently, he was the President, CEO, interim Chief Financial Officer and Chairperson of the board of directors of Kintara Therapeutics, Inc. Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Heron Therapeutics, Inc., Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Innovus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Chief Financial Officer of AnaptysBio, Inc. Mr. Hoffman started his career at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc., rising through the ranks to Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Hoffman currently serves on the board of directors of TuHURA Biosciences and Fibrobiologics, Inc., and has previously served as a director of several public and private life sciences companies, including Esperion Therapeutics, Inc., ASLAN Pharmaceuticals Limited, Saniona AB, Kura Oncology, Inc., CombiMatrix Corporation, MabVax Therapeutics Holdings, Inc. and Aravive, Inc.

Mr. Hoffman is a former member of the steering committee of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers. He also formerly served as a director and President of the San Diego Chapter of Financial Executives International and was an advisor to the Financial Accounting Standards Board from 2010 to 2020. Mr. Hoffman holds a B.B.A. from St. Bonaventure University.

Tyler Blok

Chief Legal Officer

Mr. Blok has served as the Company’s legal counsel since July 25, 2022, served as Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs from August 15, 2023 to September 26, 2024, and was appointed by the Board as Chief Legal Officer effective September 27, 2024. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Blok was an attorney at Buckley Law P.C., from 2021 to 2022, working in the firm’s business and transactional practice group, representing corporate clients in the mergers and acquisitions process, and advising business clients in relation to corporate governance matters. From 2013 to 2021, Mr. Blok worked at Markun Zusman Freniere & Compton LLP, later transitioning to TTE Law Group LLP, where he represented various corporate clients in large-scale arbitration matters, complex commercial disputes, securities litigation, and a wide variety of regulatory examination and enforcement matters.

Dr. Jacob Lalezari

Head of Research and Translational Sciences

Dr. Lalezari brings over 35 years of industry experience to the Company, including nearly 20 years of experience with leronlimab.

He previously served as CEO of CytoDyn from November 2023 to October 2026, Chief Medical Officer for a period of time during 2020, and has also been a member of the Company’s scientific advisory board in the past. Dr. Lalezari has been the CEO and Medical Director of Quest Clinical Research since 1996, and served as the Chief Medical Officer of Virion Therapeutics in 2018. Dr. Lalezari has served as Principal Investigator for Phase I, II, and III clinical studies of new therapies for such viral diseases as HIV/AIDS, CMV, HPV, HSV, Hepatitis B and C, influenza, RSV, and COVID-19, including clinical trials conducted by the Company. His work has been published extensively and he is a well-regarded international speaker and patient advocate. Dr. Lalezari received his M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, his M.A. from the University of Virginia, and his B.A. from the University of Rochester. He also holds a board certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
